The lead bowler will bowl frames 1, 5, and 9 in their entirety, bowler two will bowl frames 2, 6, and 10, bowler three will bowl frames 3 and 7, and bowler four will bowl frames 4 and 8.

Tournament Rules

Teams will be comprised of four players.

Friday April 25, 2025 Check in 5:30pm Bowling starts at 6:00pm

Open to all bowlers with valid current season average

This is a 16 game 80% handicap tournament

Averages used will be the same as the Green & Gold Doubles

Bowlers who are not in the Green & Gold Doubles averages will be as of March 9, 2025 Minimum 21 Games

Handicap is your teams combined average divided by 4 and that average will used for 80% from a base of 275
-
No Tap will be in play - a strike will be recorded if a left or right corner pin is left standing after the first ball. Aces will not be counted as a strike and in the tenth frame, multiple no tap strikes are allowed.

Teams must keep the same order throughout the 16 games

At the start of each new game your team rotates the next player to start

Example Player 1 starts Game 1 Player 2 starts game 2 and so on

The lead bowler will bowl frames 1, 5, and 9.

The second bowler will bowl frames 2, 6, and 10.

The third bowler will bowl frames 3 and 7.

The fourth bowler will bowl frames 4 and 8.

Bowlers will bowl frames in their entirety including the player bowling the 10th frame.

If a bowler need to drop out mid tournament for non medical reasons will be subject to a penalty of zero will be used for every frame that bowler was supposed to bowl.

If a bowler has to drop out for a medical reason mid tournament each from the bowler was supposed to play will be awarded a score of 15 (5,5,5).

The payout will be based on the number of entries.

The entry fee is $40.00 per person = $160.00 per team with 100% paid out in prize money.

In the event of a tie for first place, the prize money will be combined and split in the event of any other ties.

The Tournament will follow all playing Rules and Regulations for string machines of the Canadian 5 Pin Bowlers’ Association.

The Tournament Committee will rule on any discrepancies and their decision will be final.
