COVID-19 UPDATE

Starting September 20, businesses like Bonnie Doon Bowling Lanes must follow one of these 2 options:

  1. Implement the Restrictions Exemption Program requiring proof of vaccination or negative rapid test result to continue operating as usual, or

  2. Follow significant capacity and operating restrictions as outlined by the Alberta Government.

Bonnie Doon Bowling Lanes will abide by the province’s Restrictions Exemption Program which will require customers who are bowling and visiting our facility to provide proof of vaccination or negative rapid test. This temporary government-mandated program goes into effect on Monday, September 20. (more details below).

 

How does this impact Bonnie Doon Bowling Lanes patrons?

According to the province, these temporary public health options apply to all sport, recreation and fitness facilities in Alberta, not just Bonnie Doon Bowling lanes. Effective September 20, 2021, everyone will need to provide one of the following options to enter our facility:

  1. Proof of vaccination

    • A single dose of COVID-19 vaccination will be accepted between September 20 and October 25 as long as it was received two weeks before the date you are coming in

    • Proof of double vaccination is required after October 25

  2. Proof of a privately-paid negative PCR or rapid test no more than 72 hours before your workout

    • The government has declared that tests from Alberta Health Services or Alberta Precision Laboratories are not permitted

  3. Documentation of a medical exemption

 

Check-In Process

 

Customers and spectators must come to the control desk at the lanes with the following pieces of information:

The physical or digital Vaccination document.

  1. OR proof a privately-paid negative PCR or rapid test within 72 hours of coming to the facility

  2. OR documentation of a medical exemption
